How to Adjust Your GLIMRS Watch

Get ready to experience the elegance and precision of your new GLIMRS watch. To ensure you can start enjoying your timepiece without delay, we've prepared a detailed guide. This guide covers everything from setting the time to adjusting the strap to fit your wrist perfectly.

All you need to know about getting your GLIMRS watch ready for use. You'll find step-by-step instructions on:

 

1. Activate the Watch

If your GLIMRS watch is not ticking yet:

  • Gently pull out the crown (the small knob on the side of the watch).

  • Remove any plastic stopper or tab between the crown and the case.

  • Push the crown back in to start the watch. You should see the second hand begin to move.

2. Set the Time

  • Pull the crown out gently until you hear or feel a small click.

  • Turn the crown clockwise or counterclockwise to set the correct time.

  • Once the correct time is set, push the crown back in to start the watch.

3. Adjust the Strap

For Mesh Straps (Sliding Clasp):

  • Use a small flat tool (like a flathead screwdriver) to lift the clasp.

  • Slide the clasp to your desired position.

  • Press the clasp back down to lock it in place.

    4. Care & Maintenance Tips

      • Cleaning: Wipe the watch regularly with a soft cloth to remove dust and fingerprints.

      • Storage: Keep the watch in a dry, cool place when not in use.

      • Battery Life: Your quartz watch battery typically lasts 1–2 years. If it stops, simply replace the battery at a watch shop.

     

     

    Warranty

    GLIMRS is committed to the quality and craftsmanship of our watches and jewelry. We proudly offer a 1-year warranty from the day of purchase, ensuring that your GLIMRS piece meets the high standards you expect from us.

    Coverage: Our warranty covers any manufacturing and material defects under normal use. This includes issues with the movement, case, and glass of our watches, ensuring you receive the reliability and excellence inherent to the GLIMRS brand.

    Legal Warranty: In addition to our warranty, the legal warranty applies to all purchases. This means that the product will perform as reasonably expected by the consumer.

    Limitations: However, there are situations where the GLIMRS warranty does not apply:

    • Battery Replacement: The warranty does not cover battery replacement, even if required during the warranty period.
    • Accidental Damage: We cannot cover damages due to inattention or improper use, such as scratches, impacts, or drops.
    • Unauthorized Repairs: Any failure or damage resulting from repair or modification not authorized by GLIMRS, in writing, is not covered.
    • Damage from Elements: Damage caused by fire or water is not covered under warranty. To ensure the longevity of your GLIMRS piece, avoid all contact with water.
